Privacy Policy
This policy explains how AASTRO VISION (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, protects, and discloses information when you use the AASTRO VISION Android, iOS, or web application.
Information you provide
- Account information: email address, mobile number, authentication identifiers, and credentials used to secure your account. Passwords handled by our service are stored as non-reversible hashes.
- Astrology profile information: name, date and time of birth, gender, birth place, birth-place coordinates, time zone, chart preferences, and related profile settings.
- Calculation inputs: information you choose to enter for Kundli matching, numerology, Panchang, Vastu, gemstone, and other requested calculations.
- Support communications: information included when you contact us for help or request account deletion.
Device location and sensors
The Vastu compass may request foreground location permission and access compass and motion sensors while that feature is open. Current device-location and sensor readings are processed on your device to operate the compass and are not sent to our server. Birth-place coordinates that you select for an astrology profile are sent to our service and saved with that profile.
How we use information
- Authenticate users and maintain account sessions.
- Create and manage astrology profiles and preferences.
- Generate the astrology, Panchang, numerology, Vastu, matching, and devotional results you request.
- Provide support, prevent misuse, maintain security, and diagnose service errors.
- Meet legal obligations and enforce applicable terms.
Service providers and disclosure
We do not sell personal information and the app does not contain advertising SDKs. We use service providers, including Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication, to authenticate users. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process information on our behalf to deliver and secure the service. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
Storage, security, and retention
Information sent between the app and our production services uses encrypted HTTPS connections. We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security. We retain account and profile information while your account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. When you delete your account in the app, saved profiles and sessions are removed and personal fields are erased immediately. We retain only an anonymous deletion tombstone with no user personal information.
Your choices and rights
You can edit profile information in the app, decline optional device permissions, sign out, or permanently delete your account and associated data. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to access, correct, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information.
Account and data deletion
To permanently delete your account, open Profile, select Delete account, and confirm Delete permanently. The app removes saved profiles and sessions, erases your personal fields, removes a linked Firebase identity when present, and signs you out. Visit the external deletion page if you cannot access the app.
Children
AASTRO VISION is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
